Opera Pacific Supernumeraries

Each season Opera Pacific has many exciting opportunities for onstage and backstage volunteers.

Supernumeraries, or "Supers", are actors who volunteer to fill non-speaking roles in an opera. We are currently looking for individuals (young and old, big and small) who would like the experience of an acting role on the stage of the nearly 3,000-seat Orange County Performing Arts Center. Our 2007-2008 season includes La Bohème, The Magic Flute, and Susannah, all of which need Supers. There are generally 8-10 three-hour rehearsals that take place (in the evenings and weekends) prior to each production's opening night. The following are the dates of these productions:

La Boheme: October 2 - November 3
(Rehearsals: October 2 - 22, Performances: October 24, 28, November 1, 3, 2007)

The Magic Flute: January 2 - February 2
(Rehearsals: January 2 - 20, Performances: January 23, 27, 31, February 2, 2008)

Susannah: April 22 - May 24
(Rehearsals: April 22 - May 11, Performances: May 14, 18, 22, 24, 2008)
