Volunteer Opportunities
STAFF VOLUNTEERS
We need people to come into the office to make calls to patrons to encourage support. You will have a script to work from, training and we will provide you with all the resources you need to be successful.
We are flexible based on your availability and are needed anytime during Mon-Fri 10 am - 8 pm.; Saturday 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Each season Opera Pacific has many exciting opportunities for onstage and backstage volunteers.
In addition to Supers, Opera Pacific often needs individuals who enjoy
helping out backstage and in the lobby. People who are interested in
the lighting design process can help by standing in for singers on the
stage while we create lighting "looks". These folks are called light walkers. We are also constantly seeking people for our volunteer wig/make-up crew.
The volunteer wig/make-up crew is trained in the basic skills necessary
for the application of theatrical wigs and make-up. After the training
session you will be ready to help our chorus and supers prepare for
each performance.
Supers
are chosen by availability (you must be able to attend all rehearsals
and all performances) and also by costume measurements. Light walkers and wig/make-up crew are chosen by availability. Light walkers typically need to be available in the daytime. Wig/make-up crew members need to be available in the early evening thru the end of a performance. If you are interested in being a super, a light walker, and/or being on the wig/make-up crew, please download and complete the form below, and if you want to be a super please include a current full-length photograph of yourself.
As a thank you for all of
the hard work and time, all supers, light walkers and volunteer wig/make-up crew volunteers will receive complimentary tickets to the
production on which they work. Supers are paid $5.00 a rehearsal and
$10.00 a performance.
