"A unique pairing of two masterpieces in an unforgettable production. The searing passions of I Pagliacci followed by an exuberantly sung and danced Carmina Burana will have you on the edge of your seat all evening." Maestro John DeMain

I Pagliacci
In 19th century Italy, stormy relationships simmer beneath the surface as the murderous plot of Pagliacci unfolds. The interactions of a jealous husband, an unfaithful wife and a roving troupe of actors result in an explosive climax where real emotions replace play-acting. This evening at the theater begets an unspeakable crime of passion. Starring Canadians John McMaster and Sally Dibblee as the jealous Canio and Nedda.

Carmina Burana
Combining Pagliacci with Carl Orff's Carmina Burana creates an extraordinary evening of opera you will not soon forget. Since its world premiere at the Frankfurt Opera in 1937, Carmina Burana has never ceased to amaze audiences. From an international triumph during World War II to its repeated use in many commericals and films, Carmina Burana continues to excite the senses. With choreography created and performed by the award-winning dance troupe BodyVox, guest conductor Enrique Diemecke (music director of the National Orchestra of Mexico) graces the podium.

Conducted by Enrique Diemecke.

Directed by Roy Rallo.
